“You can do a full makeup routine in a flash,” says Mally Roncal. “These shortcuts make you look polished and radiant without feeling rushed, I promise.”
Most days, I put on my makeup in the passenger seat of my husband’s car—with three kids, that’s my only free time in the a.m.! So I’ve learned how to do the bare minimum but still look nicely pulled-together. Our model here, LeAnn, is in the same boat: “My mornings are spent getting my two little boys ready for school, so I only have a few minutes for myself,” she told me. I showed her how to multitask her products, then apply them swiftly so she can make school drop-off without the panic.
1. Smooth on a Liquid Foundation
A couple of drops applied over moisturized skin will even out your complexion. To sidestep concealer, use your ring finger in a press-and-roll motion to dot a little more foundation on redness around your nose and dark circles.
2. Define Your Brows
This one move instantly lifts your face. Sweep your eyebrows up with a spoolie brush, then fill them in with a pencil one shade lighter than the hair color. (For blonde brows, go a shade darker.) Brush again to blend.
3. Make Eyes Look Bright
A lash curler and black mascara work eye-opening magic. Curl your top lashes and apply mascara, then gently press the wand against the bottom ones, too. This emphasizes the lash lines the same way eyeliner would.
4. Finish With Pink Lipstick
A hydrating formula in a vibrant rosy hue perks up every skin tone—so well, in fact, that you don’t need blush (though you can dust on a natural pink one if you like). Check out how great you look. Now off you go!
